These quality Irish flutes are handmade using discarded, unused sections of PVC. For tuning, a repurposed synthetic cork is used in the head-joint. All flutes are fine-tuned and tested. Fingering holes 2 and 4 are offset for best comfort of playability (originally, they were offset – they are now made with nearly inline holes – based on feedback from others who state that they play far better with inline holes for fingering). They are available in the key of D only (the correct fingerings will lend play in most keys – easiest in the keys of D, G, Am, Bm and Em – a fingering chart is included).
